Cleaning with
high pressure hoses and aggressive cleaning and disinfection
agents is standard procedure in the food processing and
packaging industry.
This is the reason for extremely
high requirements with respect to seal and material life. The
ECOLAB testing procedure checks and proves that sensors
satisfy these demands.
The CleanProof+
test method is based on ECOLAB test method F&E No. 40 -1
but includes additional cleaning materials as well as
temperature cycle tests. Furthermore, the immersion
temperatures are considerably higher than with the original
ECOLAB test.
